Basic tasks:

  • Transformation of reporting in RAP (Russian Accounting Principles) to IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards);
  • Allocations of Expenses to Profit Centers and additional Analytics;
  • Preparation of a reporting pack of  50 flexible reports;

Technology used:

  • SAP/BI-BW 7.0 for the core data warehouse which gathers, clarifies and stores all the data appropriate for the tasks described above;
  • SAP/BI-IP (Integrated Planning) and BPS for realization of transformations and allocations on the Pilot stage. BPS is chosen by the client due to stronger reliability;
  • SAP/BI-BEX 7.0 and 3.5 for the reporting purposes;

Achievements:

  • System architecture is built flexibly and extendable;
  • Most of transformations are developed;
  • Allocations are formalized and the methodic is adjusted for better flexibility in setup and support. The system setup is done and demonstrated to the Client;
  • The package of flexible reports is developed in BEX on the basis of transformed to IFRS and Allocated data;
  • Data is uploaded to BW and transformed in an appropriate way from SAP/ERP-FI-CO and 3 bank Systems.

  • Business Unit Planning Model (BUMP) development & implementation. The system is based upon MS Access XP/2000 and SQL Server 2000. The system consists of several 'first level' modules (Volume, Cost of Sales, Pricing, Deductions, Distribution costs, Consumer A&P, Trade Investment, Operation Expenses) and the recalculated analytical modules of Profit & Loss and Ratio analysis. There are about 70 reports, 30 input forms, 100 transactional and classification tables. Forecasting and Planning is done on the 13 period a year basis. Transition explanation: JSC LUKOIL decided to organize a Global IT Outsourcing Company on the base of LUKOIL-INFORM and moved the Information Technology department there.
Position: Chief specialist.

Projects, roles and responsibilities:

  • Functional and technical team leadership in the Corporate Information Warehouse Project for JSC LUKOIL. The System is based upon SAP/BW & SEM and is gathering data from more than 300 Company affiliates and subsidiaries. Depending on the project stage there are from 5 to 10 employees reporting to me directly and about 15 indirect helpers from other projects connected to this one (Corporate classification system or Transactional systems delivering data). There are about 300 info-objects, 150 info-cubes, 50 transactional info-sources, 100 master data info-sources, 150 reports developed according to decomposed to info-objects reports.
  • Manager and Analytic in the Project dealing with an IS development for the Oil Product Delivery Companies. The IS deals with data collection from 10 Companies, integration with Transactional Information Systems and a Corporate Codification System. Besides Project Management I’m responsible for complex calculation algorithms and flexible reporting formalization. The IS is programmed by an internal LUKOIL-INFORM team with Oracle 9i and Business Objects. There are about 5-7 programmers reporting to me in this Project.
  • Controller in the Project dealing with BCS implementation in LUKOIL-Overseas. Interviewed the subcontractors, the Client, checked project decisions and setups in the system from the IT Company Head office standpoint.

Company: JSC LUKOIL (Global Russian Oil Company)

Position: Chief specialist

Projects, roles and responsibilities:

  • Head of the development group and a developer in the Project dealing with Analytical System for the Company top management. The System was developed on SAP/BW, SEM/BPS, BCS and SEM/CPM. The System was supposed to gather data from more than 100 Company affiliates and subsidiaries and present in to the users in the Corporate Center. There were from 2 to 5 employees reporting to me. We developed about 100 info-objects, 50 info-cubes, 2 management cockpits (4 walls, 20 views, and 40 frames), 70 internal and external reports. We successfully finished test usage during two months on 4 plans by 15 info-areas (Upstream, Sales, Production, Finance et cetera).
  • Senior Analytic in the Project dialing with restructuring of the existing operational reporting data. Revision of more than 250 reports from different business areas. Definition of info-objects in reports in terms of SAP/BW. Development of a Base Key Figure catalog defining information which should be gathered from the Company affiliates and subsidiaries. Definition of a Key Performance Indicators on the base of the Base Key Figure catalog.
  • Developer of an Info-Objects Catalog and Data models (responsible for Architecture of the Solution).

  • ABAP developer in SAP/R3 for different modules (MM, SD, FI). Development of new and correcting of standard data extractors from R3 to BW. There were about 50 reports, 5 transactions, 30 extractors for BW developed by me. I also broadened the accounts corresponding complex for the RAP (Russian Accounting Principles).
  • Developer of an analytical Investment module on MS Access.
